Personality
Eden is often described as "too perfect" from an outsider's perspective. She's always smiling, always kind to everyone, very articulate and rarely is ever seen losing her cool. However, underneath she struggles with severe self hatred, and feels that her outward projection is a carefully calculated mask. She takes comfort in plants and in nature; she knows an extensive amount about flower care and can always give advice on someone's garden. She is often described as "sisterly" in her natural tendency to watch over others and make sure their problems are taken care of. She doesn't deal well with abrasiveness or anger from others, and prefers to be treated gently.Biography
Eden never new her birth parents; she was abandoned as a baby and adopted young by a couple in their 30s. However, growing up her parents worked and traveled extremely often, and Eden was often either left with babysitters or to fend for herself. She often did not have her emotional needs met, and came to the conclusion young that these experiences were a result of her not being enough.Eden always deeply admired the pretty girls in her favorite tv shows who practiced ideals of friendship and love, and were always out saving the world. As a "boy" who was very quiet in school and barely had any friends, she aspired to be like this, and felt like she would much happier if she looked like this as well. Eventually, she came to the silent conclusion that she was going to be like this one day, no matter what.
As a teenager, Eden began to steal her mother's sewing supplies so she could follow tutorials and learn how to sew in secret. She began to sew beginner feminine items for herself and to learn how to garden, taking flower pots into her room and sometimes helping her mother with gardening. Her parents didn't particularly take an interest in her new hobbies, which hurt, but she told herself she was going to leave eventually and pursue a life that made her happy regardless.
Eden opted not to go to collehe, but to start working at a greenhouse and plant store so she could move out and transition. She was widely loved by her coworkers for her kind and helpful disposition, and to her surprise most of them were very supportive when they learned about her being trans, evem offering to do things like drive her to appointments. She was able to find a solid friend group in a circle of other milqilin girls, and to save up the money to move out and open her own shop.
Eden now owns her own flower and plant shop, where she takes joy in advising others about their gardens and taking care of plants. She deeply loves her friends and likes to give them little flower pots as gifts. Her relationship with her parents isn't perfect, but after she moved out they began to put a bit more effort in, and she's learning to heal while also setting boundaries.
